Successful dating app stories don't seem to come by often, so we love being the exception. After both swiping right, a cancelled first date due to food poisoning on Nichole's part, therefore leaving Adam to wonder if she was even real, to finally meeting. Their first date being at Senor Bear in Denver, they talked and talked so long, they were asked by staff to move tables since theirs was needed for a reservation, hours after theirs. And instead of closing the tab, they did in fact move tables and continued to talk well into the night. Sharing a love for Craps, food, drinks, sports, dogs, traveling, and more. After only a few more dates, Adam and Nichole decided to make things official.... and then a few months later, the world shut down due to Covid-19. Living together at this point, the two grew closer and closer with being able to focus on one another, never having one dull moment. Being quarantined didn't feel like a prison sentence to Adam and Nichole, they thrived, being together is what mattered most. Fast forward to adopting Misiu, their Bernadoodle. He became such a light in both their lives, creating a little family. Then the blending of families came next. Gary and Lori, Nichole parents, first met Adam in Estes Park on Labor day weekend, a family tradition of the Fergusons with Nichole's god parents, Sandy and Hal, since Nichole was born. It was pretty instant that they could tell Adam was different, and welcomed him with open arms. Adam grew up in the south side neighborhoods of Chicago, where his parents still reside. After not being able to go visit due to Covid at first, finally Nichole met Bogie and Krystyna with a trip to Chicago. Even with a slight language barrier ( They speak mostly Polish) they welcomed Nichole with open arms, and many photo albums of little baby Adam. The blending of families came very natural, just like their relationship. The ease these two have when it comes to the things they enjoy together is unparallel. Traveling being at the top. Whether it be a quick weekend trip to Vegas, Vancouver, or Seattle to catch an away Av's game, or across the world to Egypt, Austria, Germany, Italy, London, and Amsterdam, these two like to add the Miles. After 3 years, Adam decided he wanted to make it official, and make the Daszynski household a real thing by proposing to Nichole. After getting Gary's approval, he got down on one knee in Fussen, Germany ( on a friends trip to Oktoberfest ) on a rickety wooden bridge hundreds of feet in the air, overlooking the Neuschwanstein Castle. Nichole was so overwhelmed and scared of the ring falling through the slits, she ran to sturdy land, confusing all around, including Adam. But YES was the answer! Always was. The life these two have already built only excites them for the future to come. Marriage is only the beginning.
