Visit the capital of the island for a great day out or on an evening. Located around 20 minutes from San Antonio bay. Easiest to reach is via bus from San Antonio Town. Ibiza town hosts the ancient walled fortress of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed site. A treasure trove of cobbled streets (many only accessible on foot), cathedrals, chapels and churches and some beautiful bohemian and exclusive shops and little cafe's, nestled within the cobbled walls. Dining: You'll find lots of little quaint bars and restaurants hidden within the ancient walls of the city, as well as many fish and steak restaurants located on the harbour front (which is also flat!) Some of our personal favourites are El Zaguan - for traditional Spanish Tapas and a jug of Sangria! Or Café Montesol (a hotel) located in the main square of Ibiza town, with a rooftop cocktail bar and views over Dalt Villa, most beautiful at night.
The most mysterious and majestic landmark of Ibiza, Es Vedra is surrounded by history and legend You cannot access the rock itself, but you can take a taxi or a hire car to Cala D'Hort beach, and either take in the magnificent views whilst relaxing from the beach, or for the more energetic you will also be able to climb up to the viewing point to see the magical rock and take in the most incredible views. (Recommended to wear trainers or comfy shoes as it's quite a steep and rocky incline to the top!) Even more amazing at sunset or sunrise! **We recommend taking a hire car or moped to get there and back as it's in a remote area, taxi's are difficult to pre-order to bring you home!
Cala Tarida: The longest and widest beach on the island’s west coast. Famous for its emerald green waters, Cala Tarida’s shores have a bit of something for everyone – including beach volleyball, water sports, and a diving school. From here you can visit Cotton Beach Club for fine dining and drinks. Also C'as Mila, traditional Spanish restaurant. Cala Salada: One of the most beautiful and rustic beaches in Ibiza. Here, small and unspoilt with very few sun beds, and clean turquoise water. A popular choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of San Antonio. Cala Bassa: Popular with holidaymakers staying in San Antonio, plus local fisherman. There’s a designated area for swimmers, keeping them safe from the water sports and boats in the bay. Another great beach for families. Cala Comte: A small sandy beach with several cute coves, boasting views of the small islands of S’Espartar Illa des Bosc and Sa Conillera. Also another fantastic spot to view the famous Ibizan sunset!
Café Mambos: Where we got engaged! Open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located on the famous Sunset Strip, a world famous spot for watching the Ibizan sunset whilst watching live world class DJ's. Booking is ESSENTIAL! Bambuddha: A fantastic fine dining experience set in a palacial setting. MediterrAsian inspired menu and exclusive cocktails. Located in Santa Eulalia. Cala Gracioneta Located on Cala Gracio Beach, also Mambos owned. A really upmarket beach bar / restaurant with the most amazing food and cocktails. It has a relaxed feel so you can go for lunch whilst chilling on the beach. We would highly recommend their seafood Paella! Booking is also essential. Hostel La Torre Located around 10 minutes from San Antonio, a quieter sunset spot to Café Mambos but still with the most amazing sunset views with a really chilled ambience. El Zaguan: The most authentic and traditional Spanish Tapas restaurant in Ibiza Town
