We met in 2013 while working at Chuy’s Tex-Mex Restaurant in Denton, TX, where we struck up a friendship, as often happens with co-workers in the service industry. However, after a few months, we found ourselves falling for each other and officially started dating in April 2014. Over the past decade, we've shared countless memorable experiences, including camping trips, attending baseball and hockey games, visiting family, and exploring each other’s hobbies and interests. Through life's twists and turns, we've leaned on each other, evolving into fully functioning adults together—a journey that hasn't always been easy. Our biggest joy has been becoming parents to two beautiful and wild boys, Joseph, now 6, and Miles, 2, who bring immense light into our lives. We see ourselves as partners, navigating life and parenthood hand in hand. Each day, we inspire one another to grow, strive for improvement, and love more deeply than the day before. Yet amidst life's challenges, we always remind each other to embrace laughter, not take things too seriously, and savor every moment. Our shared love for the outdoors has been a cornerstone of our relationship, providing us with some of our most cherished memories. In the fall of 2016, we embarked on our most significant camping trip to date in the Guadalupe National Park, conquering the Guadalupe Peak Trail, the highest summit in Texas. Since then, that National Park has held a special place in our hearts. On April, 14th, 2024, we eloped at a picturesque spot along the Smith Spring Trail in the Guadalupe National Park. This spot provided us with the intimate and peaceful ceremony we had dreamed of as we solemnly committed to each other and our beloved sons.
