In the first week of their freshman year at Stanford University, Angela peeked into Adam’s room to ask if he’d be joining the other dorm friends at the social mixer that night. Adam sadly declined due to a soccer game he was preparing for the next day. Angela responded, “Oh, I had a best friend in high school who played soccer,” to which Adam swiftly replied, “Well, now you have a best friend here who plays soccer.” Months later, after much teasing from Angela’s friends and a dorm trip to Lake Tahoe where Adam was especially flirtatious, Angela’s friends convinced her to give Adam a chance. They went to Pizzeria Delfina on their first date. Angela made sure to take photos of the pizza and pasta. Adam cracked a few jokes in between bites. Let’s just say they were 100% fully themselves. Throughout the years at Stanford, Angela and Adam supported one another. Between 3 National Championships in Men’s Soccer, a cappella concerts, trips abroad, they built a strong community of friends who became forever family. After college, Adam and Angela lived together in SF and realized that they were better together than apart. Luckily, Angela was able to pursue medical school in Sacramento, just 1.5 hours away from where Adam could continue to build his career. Together, they continued to grow as both individuals and as a couple. The two are each other’s best friends and loving partners. They support each other and challenge each other to be the best of themselves. They even became dog parents to the best, most rambunctious and cuddly labradoodle on Earth, named Appa Sky. They cannot wait to begin their journey together with you by their side. Come celebrate!
