There is a variety of awesome hikes in the Graeagle area! Some of our favorites are Bear Lakes and Round Lakes Loop, Little Jamison Falls, and Eureka Peak. We like to end our hikes with a quick jump and refreshing dip in the fresh, teal-blue water at Jamison Creek! Don't forget your hiking boots and bring some goggles to get up close to the rainbow trout.
Fish the Feather River (but don't forget to release!). Native rainbow trout are the predominant game fish in Plumas County. If you're lucky, you might get a brown trout or brook trout on the line! Keep an eye out for beaver and river otter friends!
Plumas County Museum is a “living” museum filled with relics from the old mining, logging days & Mountain Maidu Native Americans. Portola Railroad Museum is a museum featuring railroad history, equipment, artifacts, photographs and historical information.
