Most of you know we met at prime time Covid when Alexa did NOT want to be around people. Alexas parents were getting remodeling done in their house, and Adam soon became one of the remodelers, specifically redoing Alexas bathroom. Adam soon realized that Alexa was crazy about germs and he thought it was cute and caring (not sure how)! Alexa worked at home most days, talking to Adam at the times they were in the same areas of the house. Adam also got Alexa to help with small things he was doing around the house. We realized the other was pretty cool and loved the conversation and support we gave in such a short time. Adam was persistent that he would come back after the job was finished to "pick up the microwave" Alexas parents no longer wanted.
At the beach for our weekly family trip, we went to go watch the sunset with Jaxson and Alexa’s parents. As Jaxson was throwing rocks in the canal, Adam told Alexa she couldn’t throw it far enough to reach the sun's reflection in the water. After 10 minutes of Alexa’s complaining that Jaxson said “Alexas a girl she doesn’t know how to throw” (thanks, Adam) she finally got up to throw a rock. When she turned around, Adam was on one knee 🥹
