What to do? Fredericksburg is located in the Central Texas’s “Hill Country”, about an hour and a half from both Austin and San Antonio. The town is known for its German heritage, antique shops, and as of the past 15 years, it’s proximity to Texas’s wine corridor. There’s a lot to do in the area, and if you’re able, it’s worth coming a few days earlier to see the sights! Outside: Enchanted Rock State Park, located only a few miles from the wedding venue, is a wonderful exploration of the region’s natural beauty. The ‘enchanted rock’ itself is a huge granite monolith and when you hike to the “summit”, you feel like you’re on top of the moon. ** Any chance you’ll be in Town on Thursday afternoon?
