Our story begins in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Tech University (wreck'em). We met during the spring semester of 2017 and knew we would maybe be more than friends. After a first date, we both knew we loved to be around each other. Derek asked me to be his girlfriend a couple of months later and the rest is history. Our love for sports (maybe not the same sports teams..), music, food, friends and family strengthened our bond even more. Over the past 6 years, we both have been together through a few stages of life. We have watched each other grow up from the college years to the post-grad life to now the "real adult" life. Both of us like to add that the 2 years of long-distance strengthened our relationship and love for each other. We both have been each other's biggest supporters and are grateful to have the opportunity to see each other grow in life. We have so much fun together, we laugh all the time and we know how to lift each other up on our hard days. Me and Derek are truly best friends and are excited to take on life together.
