Christina's Story - A friend of mine at work finally convinced me to try Bumble after REFUSING for months, I only got on when it was SUPER slow at work, since I worked night shift this was like 4:30ish in the morning that I would browse and swipe left on everyone because honestly, I didn't believe online dating should be a thing. Aidan popped up one day and I remember looking at him thinking "how cute," he had a witty caption and everything, but I thought his work shoes were UGLY so I swiped past him.... until he came back again a couple days later and I knew it was worth swiping right! We matched, and then started talking. We talked for weeks before I would ever give him my phone number! Finally, I decided to give him my number, and many nights of us staying up SUPER late talking and texting about any and everything, I was POSITIVE he was the one God made for me. So, we set up a time to meet in the midst of our INSANE schedules, I went home from Camp Seafarer for a night just for our date, telling my friend on the way out that he was the one, we met at Oak City Brewery, deleted our Bumble accounts before leaving the parking lot, and the rest is history! Aidan's Story - I got on Bumble purely out of curiosity and to pass some time at work. I remember seeing Christina's picture from Nevada with red hair and a backpack and the brightest smile I had ever seen. So I swiped right without result and kept moving. A few weeks later I got a match notification and there was that bright memorable smile again. We "talked" for a few weeks. I say talked because I would send Christina a message only to receive a response at some Ungodly hour of the night that I would wake up and respond to the next day. We, no kidding, communicated one message at a time, twice a day and I almost gave up on it all merely because of that. It wasn't until one night that we actually had a deep, meaningful conversation that I decided to persevere and try to meet for a date. The rest is history.
