Alexis and David met the summer of 2019. Their first date was at Kickbacks, a restaurant in Riverside and right away they knew their relationship was special. David showed Alexis his cool (and empty) wine cellar that he rented at Kickbacks and they even shared their first kiss. The waiter even pulled David aside to rave about their strong connection! A few days later was the 4th of July and they met up in Jacksonville Beach. David and Alexis had a great time and their relationship has been strong ever since. He eventually asked Alexis to be his girlfriend a few weeks later on a weekend away in New Smyrna Beach! Throughout their relationship David introduced Alexis to new things like home renovations, his love for random buildings and real estate, boating, and every tool you can imagine. Alexis made David a dog-dad to their sweet pup Rocky, made him travel with her during her vacations, and made happy hour at the pool a regular occasion. Their interests balance each other perfectly and they couldn't imagine it any other way! Flash forward to 2022 and David surprised Alexis with a proposal at the same place he asked her to be his girlfriend, in New Smyrna Beach. They celebrated with some of their best friends and then made their big move to Tampa for Alexis's residency. Since moving they have worked hard together to plan their wedding and cannot wait until their big day!
