SFO, SJC, OAK

Stanford is less than a half hour drive to both San Francisco (SFO) and San Jose (SJC) international airports. It's not much farther to Oakland international (OAK) either, so give that a look.

Train

Caltrain

If staying in SF or along the Peninsula, consider Caltrain as your means of transit. Stanford Memorial Church is a walkable distance (or quick and free Marguerite bus) from the Palo Alto Caltrain station, and the Fox Theater is super close to the Redwood City Caltrain station. For San Francisco, the train to Palo Alto that you'll want to take is the 1:58pm train. After the reception, the last northbound train out of Redwood City leaves at 11:56pm.

We have room blocks at two hotels in downtown Palo Alto that are within walking distance to downtown Palo Alto, Caltrain (for SF adventuring), and Memorial Church.
