Matron of Honor
Angela Grant is the bride’s older sister. They have grown closer as they've gotten older and experienced different seasons of life together. Allie was Angela’s maid of honor in October of 2017. What Allie loves most about my sister is her ability to go with the flow, without get caught up in what others think!
Bridesmaid
Bridgette (Hardamon) Hensley, is one of Allie’s closest childhood friends. Bridgette and Allie grew up in Bargersville “right around the block” from each other. They were both incredibly involved in FFA, both Johnson County Fair queens and have so many shared memories. When Allie is back home, Bridgette, Allie & the dogs can be found drinking wine and talking for hours like no time has passed. Allie was one of Bridgette’s bridesmaids in October of 2023. Bridgette is the life of the party, she’s creative, funny and a fantastic friend.

MaryEllen (O'Connor) Leverenz, is one of Allie’s closest childhood friends. MaryEllen (cousin to Bridgette) and Allie grew up in Bargersville within a quick 5 minute drive from the Abney’s. MaryEllen started her cattle showing days with Timmy, a steer that Doug (Allie’s Dad) sold to MaryEllen for $1.00. Allie and MaryEllen have so many fond memories with the Belted Galloways, playing Union basketball, cattle camp in Tennessee, and within FFA. While MaryEllen now lives in St. Louis she is always a phone call or text away. Allie was one of MaryEllen’s bridesmaids in June of 2023. MaryEllen is sincere, thoughtful, loyal and a dependable friend.
Bridesmaid
Aubrey Gleason, is one of Allie’s closest friends she made after college. Aubrey and Allie met in Denver, CO where Allie started her professional career with Hormel Foods. Aubrey is from Kansas and one of our mutual friends recommended we live together as roommates. Allie creeped on Aubrey and knew without a doubt they’d get along since Aubrey was also actively involved in 4-H, FFA and was Catholic. Aubrey encouraged Allie to draw closer in her faith while living together, as they’d go to church together every Sunday. Allie was Aubrey’s maid of honor in July of 2021. Aubrey is incredibly sincere, hilarious, kind, and a faithful friend.

Liz Taylor, is one of Allie’s closest friends from college. Liz and Allie met at Purdue freshman year living a few doors down in McCutcheon hall. Little did they know, they’d spend the next four years creating special memories as sisters of Delta Gamma. Allie and Liz became quick friends and enjoyed serving Delta Gamma together in various leadership positions. Allie was one of Liz’s bridesmaids in May of 2021. Liz is full of genuine joy, she’s incredibly organized and a faithful friend.

Rilee Abney, is Allie’s sister-in-law married to her younger brother Doug. Throughout Doug & Rilee’s relationship, Allie has loved getting to know Rilee. She’s been there to support our family & Allie through many life events. Allie has many great memories with Rilee and Doug cheering on Purdue, working on the farm, and planning the next family event. Allie was Rilee’s something blue in June of 2022. Rilee is driven, organized and is the most loyal Purdue fan.

Ηannah Marshall, is one of Allie’s closest friends she made living in Chicago. Hannah and Allie met at a brunch Josh brought Allie to right after they’d met. Hannah and Allie hit it off talking the entire time about shared interests. Hannah’s fiancé Donald and Josh are close friends, so they have a lot of shared memories on double dates. Allie is a bridesmaid in Hannah’s wedding this fall. Hannah is realistic, dependable and thoughtful.
Best Dog
Harry lives up to his title as ‘Best Dog’ every day. He brings so much joy to Allie and Josh’s life. Allie got Harry when she was living in Minnesota (which is why he loves snow so much)! When Allie moved to Chicago, he quickly adapted to being a city dog and as soon as he met Josh, knew they would be best buds. He is the life of the party and will be living it up with his friends at the Doggie Hotel & Spa the weekend of the wedding!

Lucas is Josh’s younger brother. Josh was his Best Man in his wedding in March of 2021!

Jason is Josh’s youngest brother. He is a freshmen at Manchester University!

Josh met Cody while at Ball State University. They were Theta Chi Fraternity brothers and have stayed close friends ever since. Cody introduced Josh to many of his Chicago area friends and they golf together regularly. Josh stood in Cody’s wedding in October of 2020!

Josh met Brad through Cody in college. Brad is a diehard Purdue fan and introduced Josh to a lot of the Chicago Purdue friends. Brad and Josh were roommates for a number of years.

Doug is Allie’s youngest brother. Josh & Doug enjoy shooting guns together on the Abney farm.

Christian and Josh met through Brad and the Chicago Purdue friend group. Allie and Josh met at Christian and his wife’s (Maddie) apartment in September of 2021! Josh stood in Christian’s wedding in May of 2023! Josh and Christian cannot be trusted around a bottle of Fireball.

Cade and Josh met through the Chicago Purdue friend group. They enjoy golfing and drinking together. Josh will stand in Cade’s wedding in August of 2024!
Usher
Levi is Allie’s brother-in-law and Wesson & Harper’s Dad! He is the handy man around the farm and always helping Sherry with random tasks.

Ethan and Allie met through FFA and have been friends for over 15 years. Ethan and Allie were Indiana FFA State Officer teammates and partners in crime. They had a lot of fun together at Purdue - some of the favorite memories Allie has are from FarmHouse dances & parties, Little Dipper Ice Cream runs and studying abroad in Ireland together. Ethan is a true friend and always has had Allie’s back!
Ring Bearer
Wesson is Allie and Josh’s favorite nephew. He is three years old and is obsessed with Josh! Allie and Josh are also Wesson’s Godparents.
