Where is the wedding taking place?

The wedding will take place at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Post Falls, Idaho.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is formal attire. Out of respect for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, we ask that guests dress modestly, in accordance with Pope Pius XI's Papal decree on modesty: "A dress cannot be called decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breadth under the pit of the throat; which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows; and scarcely reaches a bit beyond the knees. Furthermore, dresses of transparent materials are improper." Men should wear a suit and tie. It is the traditional custom of the Church for women to veil while in the church. There will be extra veils available near the main entrance for those who do not have one!

Can I bring additional friends or family?
Answer
Additional friends and family are welcome at the wedding ceremony. Sadly, however, we can only accommodate those specifically invited to the reception because the venue capacity is very limited.

What is the proper etiquette to observe during Holy Communion?
Answer
Holy Communion is only to be received by practicing Catholics in a state of grace. If you are not a Catholic in a state of grace, please remain seated.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

We would love to have our guests take photos afterward, but we ask that they refrain from taking pictures during the wedding ceremony.

The drive to the reception is just over 30 minutes from St. Joan of Arc.
