We met at a hockey game in Havre, MT--the first one either of us had been to! Abby noticed a tall, dark haired security guard by the rink and knew she HAD to catch his eye. They had been attending MSU-Northern for a whole semester before she had seen Levi, but he claims she caught his eye long before;) We have been best friends since, in the highs and lows. Growing closer to God & each other daily. Progressing to be "better at 70" <3
Two years later, Abby visited Levi in his hometown, Anacortes, WA. Unbeknownst to her, Levi had big plans! His initial idea was to propose on New Year's Eve when she arrived, however, weather conditions delayed her flight. The next day, after a laid-back morning in the Keltner home, Levi suggested everyone go on mom's highly-encouraged "New Year's Day hike"--with hopes of Penguin Coffee afterward. "Sares Head" was on the agenda. It was a chilly afternoon and the trail was snow packed and slick! We made it to the lookout and were gazing over the ocean when Levi got down on one knee and said, "I want you to be my teammate for life. Will you marry me?" After realizing what was happening, Abby was beaming as she said "YES!" This memory will forever be one of our favorites to look back on. We are so thankful the Keltner family was there to capture and be part of this special day (even Levi's brother, Jesse, over FaceTime).
