We're getting married!

Eric and Abigail met though a Christian dating app. One of Abigail's bridesmaids, Angela, had mentioned that app on a Valentine's youth party at church. Abigail was curious about using a Christian dating app so she downloaded it and the two matched on that same night! Eric was living in Tyler, Texas and Abigail in Houston, Texas. Being 3 hours away from each other was not easy but they made it work. One weekend Eric would drive 3 hours to Houston and the next Abigail would drive 3 hours to Tyler. During the week, when they were not together, they would text and call each other. For their first date, Eric came to Houston because Abigail wanted to take him to Downtown. It was their first time meeting each other in person. They were both nervous but excited to see what the future held. While in the car, Eric sang his heart out to Morgan Wallen's song "A Silverado for Sale". His country accent captivated her even more. This song is a special one for the couple as it is nostalgic and brings them back to the first day they met. The date was so much fun that they started planning the next one for the following weekend. On their second date, Eric came to Houston again and the couple walked the park next to Abigail's parents house. There, by the lake, Eric knew he had to make his move because he did not want to go another week without having her. Abigail said yes to being his girlfriend and they were filled with so much joy. Their relationship consisted of dates, game nights, family time, visiting the country and city, bible studies, binge watching shows, trying new food places, and mini trips! Time really does go by fast when you are in love. On the day they made a year of dating, Eric took Abigail to that same lake/park by her parent's house (where he first asked her to be his girlfriend) and asked her to marry him. With tear-filled eyes Abigail said yes. Little did she know, there was a surprise engagement party awaiting at her parent's house! Their engagement has been beautiful with many blessings. This love story is just the beginning. They look forward to having a matrimony where God is first. They are excited to see their marriage flourish with beautiful children. They give all honor and glory to God for answering their prayers and they can't wait to celebrate with you!
