A guest is welcome to accompany you on your trip. However, only those listed on your invitation should be in attendance at the ceremony.
Even though Abigail and Bernard love your children as much as they love you they have had to make the difficult decision to not include any children at their wedding ceremony. They greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
The bride and groom have chosen wedding casual for their ceremony. The event is being held outdoors and will be a bit laid-back. A seasonally appropriate dress or slacks would be perfect. You can add a tie or sports jacket if you'd like, but it's not required. If it's chilly, feel free to add a sweater as well. Please no tennis shoes or white or ivory outfits. Ladies, you may want to avoid heels since there will not be pavement.
The ceremony is being held at a somewhat remote outdoor site. There will not be seating provided. Please feel free to bring your own chair if it would make you more comfortable for the ceremony.
No. The ceremony is at a somewhat remote site at the end of an unmarked fire road. It is not easy to find if you haven't already been there. So, meeting at 1:45pm in order to be part of the caravan is a necessity. Please be on time to ensure you are not left behind. The caravan will leave promptly at 2:20pm.
Unfortunately, if you don't get to the Knickerbocker Public Parking lot at 630 Knickerbocker Rd Big Bear Lake, CA 92315 between 1:45pm and 2:15pm you will miss the departure of the caravan as well as the entire wedding.

The drive up will be on windy roads. Those who tend to be susceptible to motion sickness may want to prepare in advance. Sea bands, saltines, or french fries have been helpful to some for reducing the nausea.
Abigail and Bernard will not be hosting a reception. Big Bear, however, is gorgeous! You might enjoy an afternoon hike or a visit to the Big Bear Zoo.
If you would like to make it a weekend getaway you may consider reserving a room at one of the many hotels or lodges. There are also a number of Airbnb's available.
