The Sea Mist Thimble Islands Cruise
If you're looking for a fun coastal excursion near the wedding venue, this is a great day trip! Tours are usually 45 minutes. We recommend booking your ticket at least a week early.
Wooster Square
Welcome to New Haven's Little Italy! Take a walk to this area for cannolis at Lucibello's Bakery, pasta at Consiglio's or Tre Scalini, and jump in line to grab a table at Sally's or Pepe's for some of the best pizza in the world! If you're staying at the OMNI, this is a 12 minute walk. There are crosswalks, but you'll have a cross a wide street (State Street), so if that's not comfortable for you, there's usually parking available if you choose to drive.
Barcade
Full of fun old and new arcade games, a great tap list, and great bites, this spot is a must-stop if you have a few hours free! If you're staying at the OMNI, this is a 5 minute walk
Archie Moore's
This is our go-to spot for a relaxing and delicious evening out! This is the original Archie Moore's Irish Pub established in 1898 and has some of the best buffalo wings in the area. We come here regularly, so tell the staff you're in town for our wedding! If you're staying at the OMNI, this is about a 10 minute DRIVE, but there's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking.
Koon Thai Restaurant
If you want to stay in for dinner, one of our favorite places for take out in New Haven is Koon Thai! If you're feeling spicy, try the 3 Flavor Curry or the Pad Kee Mao. If you're staying at the OMNI, this is a 2 minute walk
Willoughby's Coffee & Tea
One of the best cups of coffee in New Haven - this is worth the 8 minute walk from the OMNI! With tons of different roasts to choose from, if you're looking for something local and special, keep walking passed Dunkin' and Starbucks and opt for Willoughby's!
Arethusa Farm Dairy
The best ice cream in New Haven! Also, if you're looking for award-winning cheese, you can pick some up here! If you're staying at the OMNI, this is a 5 minute walk.
