To make a long sappy love story short, we are high school sweethearts! We met halfway through our senior year at Averill Park High School. Neither of us thought we would be anything serious except a fun summer fling before heading off to college (3 hours away from each other!). Little did we know how hard we would fall and by the time August of that last summer before college came around we both knew we were in it for the long run. Here we are, 6 years, two dogs, and one little house later, about to embark on our next big journey together. We are beyond excited for our next chapter and we are so grateful to have you all join us for the beginning of it!

As many of you know, Cape Cod is a very special place. Knowing I am happiest when on the shores of the Cape and keeping with the theme of our sappy love story, Liam planned the most romantic evening to propose in one of my favorite places on the Cape. After a fancy dinner for two at The Beacon Room in Orleans we drove over to Rock Harbor to watch the sunset. It had been a grey, overcast, and rainy day but, of course, the skies seemed to clear just after we arrived and it made for the most beautiful orange creamsicle colored sunset over the harbor. It was then, as I pulled a bottle of champagne (unknowingly) from our cooler that he got down on one knee and popped the big question. Obviously, if you're reading this, you know how I answered his question! It was truly a wonderful night we will cherish forever!
