Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

February 11th

Question

Is there an Open Bar?

Answer

Do you think we'd have a wedding without one?

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask for all our guests to be in Semi-formal attire. Our ceremony will be on a beach, during the evening, in Mexico, in July & the reception will be held in a location with solid floors and sand, so wear what ever is most comfortable.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimacy of the wedding, we ask for only the guests that we invite be permitted to come.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We ask only kids above the age of 10 come to the ceremony, and leave during the later part of reception. Kids get bored and Adults will be drinking (most likely ALL day) if you don't mind your kids seeing some asses shake, they can stay for the later part of the reception. The resort works with a childcare agency, which is linked on our booking website.

Question

Where is the ceremony going to be?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on a beach and the subsequent events will be in outdoor & indoor hybrid spaces all within the resort.

Question

Do I need a Passport?

Answer

Yes, you will need a Valid Passport Book- not a card which is used exclusively for car transportation- that is valid for 6+ months before July 2025. (ex. if you passport expires March 2025, you'll need to renew it) Passport processing times are 8-11 weeks on average so plan accordingly!

We have a Room Block reserved at a discounted rate through Hotel Xcaret. You can book your stay through the 'resort' tab on this site and clicking on "view" to access our wedding coordinators webpage.

Question

When do we have to reserve a room?

Answer

The latest you can book your room within the room block the hotel has reserved for us is February 11th, 2025, so anytime before then. Only a deposit equivalent to two nights stay is due in February

Question

How long do I have to stay?

Answer

There is a three-night minimum for all guests, but stay longer if you'd like! We will be staying at the Resort July 26- August 2nd

Question

I have questions about what to expect at the resort and the amenities they offer

Answer

For any resort related questions, go to the dedicated website our wedding planner has assembled for us. Essentially all information pertaining to the rooms available, booking, the Eco-parks, what's included during your stay and everything else will be found there in the FAQ section. The link is in the resort section of this website under "Hotel" click "view'

Question

Do we have to reserve a room within your room block or can we stay at a different hotel?

Answer

To be able to attend all wedding events, you must book within the room block. You do not need to stay past the required three nights. Included in the stay is all of the hotels eco-parks and excursions, which we would love to enjoy all together.

Question

Are you planning any group events outside of the Wedding?

Answer

Of course, certain Eco-parks require reservations in advance, and we would like to enjoy time with all of our guests throughout the parks. Closer to the trip, we will provide reservations and information about our plans with each of you.

Question

What's the Weather expected to be?

Answer

Weather in the Rivera Maya during July varies, but plan for 75-80 degrees with moderate to high humidity (it is the jungle)

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

There are a bunch of water-based activities not just at the resort, but the Eco-Parks themselves, so bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, water proof phone case and water shoes. These items are available to purchase at the Eco-Parks, but it will be cheaper to get these beforehand. Mexico uses the same outlets we do, so you won't have to worry about conversion plugs. Everything is included at the Resort through your stay, bring cash if you want to purchase souvenirs or tip the bartenders but its completely optional.
