We're so excited!

Abby and Kyle met at Lucille Restaurant in Madison on a spectacular blind date sponsored by the incredible dating service known as Tinder. They actually have several friends in common, and Abby believes they met about a year earlier - but...you know...timing. If it were not for Tinder, Abby would not have been wooed by Kyle's passion for dad jokes, and Kyle would not have been impressed by Abby's ability to pretend they were funny. Abby knew she wanted to go out with Kyle again when he mentioned that he owned a towel warmer and even offered to give it to her (Abby wanted to buy a towel warmer for several months at that point), so invited him to go paddle-boarding the next day. Kyle joined Abby for the windiest and least-coordinated paddle-boarding experience ever. After managing to make it back to shore, they went for lunch and the rest is history. Kyle is originally from Chardon, Ohio, near Cleveland and is a die-hard Cavaliers and Indians fan (...obviously space for a NFL team though). He moved to Madison to take his current job at Epic about 8 years ago. Abby is from Mequon, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee and moved to Madison about 10 years ago to start at UW-Madison. Once she completed her undergraduate degree, she continued to live in Madison and work as a Spanish teacher at an elementary school in a suburb nearby. She loves everything Wisconsin like the Packers, Badgers, and Babcock Ice Cream. At the time of the wedding, Abby and Kyle will have just celebrated the three-year mark of their first date. In those three years, they were fortunate enough to travel to Puerto Rico, Thailand, Australia, and French Polynesia. They also purchased a condo in the downtown Madison area and, maybe Kyle's favorite adventure, adopted a rescue dog named Ronni! Kyle, Abby, and Ronni are so excited to see what the countless years ahead bring and are so grateful to be able to celebrate with all of you!
