While we did not go to the same college, we ended up meeting at a college party (thanks to Matt Seeley for inviting us both to his 21st birthday)! Abby had the best opening line of "you are so tall" that immediately hooked Dash! While the rest of the night is a bit hazy, Dash left that night knowing he wanted to see Abby again. Over the next months and years we had several run ins where we got to know each other better! It wasn't until we had both graduated and were living in the same city, that we started dating in fall of 2018!

Dash thought long and hard about how he was going to propose to Abby. Through months of planning he executed the perfect evening with friends and family! Thanks to Sam James's perfectly timed birthday, Dash had the perfect cover to surprise Abby with a day full of events starting with a boat ride through Lake Union and ending with a BBQ with all their closest friends and family! Dash was even able to secretly fly Abby's parents in to celebrate which made the day unforgettable!
