Shuttles will depart from Hotel Mountain Brook at 3:30pm and 4:00pm. Shuttles will be available from the venue to Hotel Mountain Brook 10:30pm-1:30am. If you choose to drive yourself, a car with 4WD is recommended. Please note there are no Ubers or Taxis in the area!
Most importantly, we want people feeling good and ready for fun! Here’s some more information for each night: Friday: Casual - think going to dinner in the mountains. Nice jeans or fun dress, button downs, maybe some spiffy boots or fun jacket? Saturday: Creative Formal - formal attire that is personalized to your style. The inn is super cozy and eclectic! While it may be cold outside, it will be warm inside. (Note, we’ll do our best to limit exposure to elements but there may be a little snow/mud getting to/from the shuttle!) Sunday: VERY Casual! Come as you are :)
Plan for a cozy winter weekend! March weather in Tannersville is a bit unpredictable. We will be in the mountains, and so may see winter conditions, with snow and/or mud on the ground still. A good pair of waterproof boots and winter jacket will be helpful. The shuttle will pull into the driveway of the venue and we will do our best to limit your exposure to the elements getting into and out of the inn on The Big Day, but please note the chance of mud when considering footwear.
The ceremony and celebration on Saturday will both take place inside of Deer Mountain Inn!!
Hotel Mountain Brook is our preferred location: please call them to arrange your room BEFORE January 15, letting them know it is for Abbie and Colin’s wedding. Hotel Lilien is close by, as an option if Hotel Mountain Brook is full. There are lots of cool AirBnBs in the Catskills, however we ask that guests book with Hotel Mountain Brook if possible. We will not provide transportation to individual AirBnBs and there are no taxis or Ubers in the area.
We ask that our Saturday evening celebration be adults-only. Kids are welcome to join the fun Friday and Sunday. Please get in touch with us if you’re traveling with kiddos; we have a couple of options to help you plan childcare!
Tannersville is a quaint town in the Catskills. There are small shops and restaurants walking distance from Hotel Mountain Brook, lots of hiking/snowshoeing and small ski mountains around. Larger towns such as Hudson and Woodstock are a short drive away.
Unfortunately, the truck will not be able to make the journey, and Colin would likely eat all of the food on the drive out anyway.
