Covid closed many doors, but it sure did open ours. What started as a quick picture together during Abbi’s birthday celebration in January of 2020 (meeting for about a minute) turned into a blossoming relationship come July. Covid shut downs expended creative quality time and relationship growth, including their first date catching up over truly lemonades and HGTV in George’s apartment. Abbi and George started their first grown up jobs together- Abbi a labor and delivery nurse and George a sports marketer who took a leap moving from Kansas to Delaware for work. Many plane tickets later, Abbi moved to Delaware to be with George. Just shy of two years after their first date, George proposed on a gazebo behind his grandmother’s house. This was the easiest question Abbi has ever answered! Their love has continued to grow and thrive as they are looking to the next chapter of their lives in marriage!
