Marissa & I met freshman year of college, and we soon became best friends. She was the kind of friend that I used to pray for, & she consistently proves that she is one in a million. She is a constant source of laughter & joy, & she pushes me to be a better person. She is passionate, loyal, encouraging, & sincere. I couldn’t imagine my life without her because she has gone from friend to family. When she first told me about Austin, I was so excited for her. I could see in her eyes that this guy had the potential to be the one. Getting to know him has been a pleasure, but getting to see them together has been a privilege. I’m honored to call them my friends, & I’m thrilled to celebrate their love. They were made for one another, & I can’t wait to watch them take on married life together!

Hey there I'm Chris and I have known Austin for almost 12 years. I met Austin in 7th grade and have been friends ever since. Austin and I played football and wrestled together. I moved down to Florida after graduation but Austin and I remained very close friends. After he and Marissa graduated college they moved down to florida where the three of us all shared one room. It was tight but eventually we figured it out. Just kidding we moved in together and lived together for a little while before realizing that our apartment complex was sketchy and we needed to get out of there! I am honored to stand by him as his best man and can't wait to see him walk down the aisle in his beautiful dress on his wedding day.

If you know Marissa, you know she’s got a huge personality, so I always knew it would take a certain kind of guy to balance her out. Very early on it was easy to tell that Austin really was the ying to her yang. But she didn’t only meet a guy that is her other half, she also met someone who brings out a huge sense of adventure in her. Together they share a great friendship, a love of animals, Disney movies, and things that may not make sense to a lot of us. They really have some massive dreams! More than anything, Austin makes my sister happy and ultimately that’s all a sister could ever ask for. I’m happy to be a part of this next step in their relationship and can’t wait to watch them explore this world together.

Austin, you’re more than just family, you’re my best friend. We had amazing childhood adventures and made lifelong memories. From creeking to scavenging through the woods, disappearing for sushi and bringing home turtle eggs that Uncle Cam forced us to eat. Although we are different, we are still alike in so many ways. We are both stubborn, a little narcissistic, definitely sore losers, but we also wear our heart on our sleeves. When I met Marissa, I could tell right away that you had met a new partner to go on crazy adventures and create new lifetime memories with. She is sweet but strong enough to bring the voice of reason to your reckless urges and unreasonable thoughts. I’m thrilled that Marissa is joining our family, and can’t wait for the day our kids go on adventures of their own.

Marissa and I became really close friends in high school, and no matter how much time we spent away at college, we always picked up right where we left off. Whenever meeting a new guy, I always secretly used myself as an indicator. If the guy couldn’t handle my loud personality, he wasn’t worthy of being with Marissa. When it was time for me to meet the already famous Austin, Marissa said she made sure to warn him about me. But what she didn’t warn me about was how warm, loving and hilarious Austin was. Seeing them flourish together has been such a joy! Their love for each other always brightens a room and that’s exactly what I’ve always wanted for Marissa. I’m so incredibly excited to see them continue to grow as partners and to continue crashing date nights as the chronic third wheel.

I first met Austin and Marissa while they were in college. There is few times in a persons life where they meet someone and it just clicks. When I saw these two together I knew that my brother had met someone that understands him in ways that most of us will not. She gives balance to the wild animal that is Austin. And for Marissa I see that he helps her embrace that same wild side.

Marissa and I met my freshman year at Birmingham-Southern. When she became my Big Sister in Pi Phi, she also became one of my closest friends! Marissa is so kind, caring, and compassionate and I am so glad she came into my life three years ago. I can’t imagine what college would have been like without the countless laughs and deep conversations I’ve shared with her. I’ve always known Marissa and Austin together, but I can’t imagine two people more perfect for each other. Not only have I been able to have Marissa as a mentor, but I’ve been able to see her relationship with Austin as one I can look up to. I’m beyond excited to have the chance to be a part of their special day and can’t wait to continue to watch Marissa and Austin grow together.

I met Austin and Marissa during my time at Birmingham-Southern College. My wife quickly made friends with Marissa during our first few weeks there, and they have been inseparable ever since. During our sophomore year, Austin and Marissa started dating, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled that we added a guy to our group dynamic so I got to stop third wheeling in my own relationship. I immediately recruited Austin to my fraternity where I also made sure to add him to my family. I couldn’t be more thrilled to see these two continue their journey together and can’t wait to celebrate their big day soon!

Marissa is what I like to call “an insta-best friend”. We hit it off immediately and quickly grew close. Marissa’s friendship means so much to me and I’ve honestly never had a friend like her. She is so loving, extremely caring, and her laugh is contagious. Meeting and being friend’s with Mar, means I got the opportunity to get to know Austin. Austin undeniably loves Marissa. They are equally passionate about their goals, their families, each other, and their future together. They both support one another to no end and when I see them together, I know they are a match made in Heaven. Being around the two of them instantly lifts your spirits. They radiate positivity and you can never have a bad day with the both of them. I am so excited and honored to be a part of their journey!
