Will there by any additional changes in light of COVID?

Answer

Considering the uncertainty arising from the ongoing pandemic and to ensure the wellbeing of our loved ones, we have made the difficult decision to downsize our wedding ceremony and celebration. We hope that we will not have to reduce the size of our wedding further, but we will continue to monitor COVID developments. If anything changes, we will reach out to you directly.

What will safety precautions look like the day of the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in a heated barn, where window/doors will remain open throughout the event and seating will be spread out. Cocktail hour will be outside with games available, with the bar inside the tent. A buffet dinner will be served by Amber Grove's service staff to minimize physical contact. Reception will be held in the heated tent with tables seating 6-7 guests. Masks will be required during certain venue areas and certain parts of the event. More information will be provided once you arrive at Amber Grove!

To what extent will masks be required?

Answer

For the safety of all of our guests, masks are REQUIRED for the ceremony. We ask that you bring your own mask if possible, but we'll have extras if needed. Masks will also be required in the designated areas at Amber Grove during the reception. If you are unable to adhere to these guidelines for any reason, please reach out to the bride and groom.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm and doors will open at 2:45pm. Please plan accordingly to get to the venue between 2:45-3:00pm.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire; i.e. cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and suits

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited due to safety precautions and venue accommodations. Please only RSVP for the reserved seats under your name.

How do we get there?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Amber Grove in Moseley, VA - approximately 30 minutes southwest of Richmond. Driving westbound on Genito Road, the driveway to the venue is located directly off Genito Road, 250 feet before Weatherbury Place.

Parking is available on site upon arrival.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing any special transportation to and from the hotels and venue site but rental cars are available. Please refer to our travel page for more information.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We wish we could include all children, but due to the limited venue space, are unfortunately only able to invite those of immediate family

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing alcoholic beverages (wine/beer/champagne). We ask everyone to drink responsibly and prepare driving accommodations ahead of time.

What type of food will you be serving?

We will have a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres and beverages. Dinner will be traditional American buffet style.

Can I post photos on social media/Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes, help us look back on moments of our big day by tagging #theCHOIceisKLIER in all your photos. We do ask however that during the ceremony, you refrain from taking photos.
