Take 1: Fede, short for Federico (aka Aaron), who still held strong ties with his former coworkers, shows up to TBS (company) for a traditional Phil's BBQ luncheon. Fede, who already had the scoop on the new hire, described as "new chill, down to earth, sporty girl," takes a detour from the lounge to the office and finds Alicia playing with a pair of Chinese meditation balls (google it). In a somewhat silly and awkward exchange, Fede engages Alicia in a conversation about who those meditation balls originally to belong to. Alicia then asks this guy what his name his, to which he answers, "Federico or Fede". Take 2: A coworker had talked to Alicia about a so called "Aaron" who is really cool and she should meet, but Alicia is supposed to leave for the Peace Corps in August, so life can only go on because who knows who this Aaron guy is. The Fede interaction is but an exchange with a random dude that doesn't even work at TBS who will probably not be seeing again. Fast forward to April 2013... Alicia has to work a Family Event held by the company on a Saturday at 8 AM, guess who shows up? Fede. Yup, he doesn't even work there, who shows up to their former place of employment on a Saturday at 8 AM to work at an event without pay? Federico does. By the time he shows up, a coworker tells Alicia, "Aaron is here," - AARON IS FEDE!? Alicia's reaction exactly. Throughout the day, Aaron interacts with Alicia multiple times throughout the day: a football toss, an art activity, even helps clean up with Alicia. After all of this, they part ways. No number or facebook exchanges. Take 3: Alicia is kinda interested so she asks a friend for Aaron's facebook, remember, HE DIDN'T ASK FOR HER NUMBER. After 2 days of chattin' it up on a laptop (it's 2013 yall), Aaron says "I have to go to the gym, text me" and like magic, finally drops his number. Seven years later, 5 countries traveled, countless of beer tastings, 2 masters degrees, 1 house, 1 dog: we are making it official OFFICIAL.
