Alex and Aaron met while working together at the Center for Global Development in Washington, DC. They bonded over email newsletters and blog posts, and soon became friends outside of work. And then a romance blossomed. From D.C., to Philadelphia, Lesotho, and New York, their relationship grew stronger until Aaron proposed on top of a mountain in Peekskill, New York in October, 2018.
