Please look at the shuttle schedule, in the event notes, for the wedding and arrive early to expedite the loading process. There will only be one round of shuttles to and from, so if you miss it you will miss the wedding.

Things To Do

South Hill Winery

801 Scoggins Road, Underwood, WA 98651

There are many wineries in the Hood River area. While visiting we stopped here and they had a wonderful view of Mt. Hood and their wine tasting was nice. Mt. Hood Winery and Stave & Stone Estates are also worth a visit!

Sol Rides

13 Oak Street, Hood River, OR 97031

A local bike company that rents electric bikes and provides tours around the area. The historic highway state trail is a great way to take in the gorge views. We walked the trail while we were visiting.

Timberline Lodge ski area

Government Camp, OR 97028

Timberline Lodge is located on Mount Hood, which is one of the only mountains in North America that offers summer skiing. They also have mountain biking trails available in the summer. P.S. for movie buffs part of The Shining was filmed here!

Mount Hood Railroad

110 Railroad Street, Hood River, OR 97031

For those wanting to explore the area in a different way Mt. Hood Railroad offers various types of scenic rides in the area. They are one of the few remaining railroads that use switchbacks. They also have a unique rail bike experience and rent e-bikes.

Kite Boarding and Wind Surfing

Hood River, Oregon

Hood River is the U.S. hot spot for all things kite boarding and wind surfing due to the gorge conditions. There are many outfitters in town that give lessons whether you’re a beginner or advanced. Even if you don’t want to try it out for yourself we highly recommend walking down to the riverfront and checking out all the activity on the water!

Ferment Brewing Company

403 Portway Avenue, Hood River, OR 97031

This brewery has nice indoor and outdoor seating with views of the water. They also have food. The area has many breweries!

The Fruit Company - Factory Experience

2850 Van Horn Drive, Hood River, OR 97031

Hood River is part of the “fruit loop” with many orchards and farms. There are many that allow visitors to pick their own and enjoy their farm shop/experiences. Some even offer tours of their factories via tram.

Indian Creek Golf Course

3605 Brookside Drive, Hood River, OR 97031

There’s a few golf courses in the area if you’re looking to play!

Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls

OR 97014

We stopped here to hike the falls during our visit. Due to its popularity you will need to purchase a $2 timed entry ticket (good for a car load of people) ahead of time from the U.S. Forest Service, which can be done from their website. You can choose to view the falls from the bottom, a small hike to the bridge, or hike to the top. We hiked to the top and it is up hill the whole way, so we recommend lots of water and some good tennis shoes.
