Matron of Honor
Aly and Bria met in 2017 when they were both working at Colleton County High School in Walterboro, SC. It started when Bria would watch Aly's animals when she and her husband, Ryan, would go out of town. They soon became close friends, however, as they realized the incredible amount of things they had in common. A bonding opportunity for Aly and Bria was their tendency to "spiral," marking their tendency to take a small, benign task, and turn it into a grand project. Aly now lives in her home state of New Jersey, but the bond between Bria and Aly will always remain strong! Bria and Aly religiously attend monthly FaceTime "dates" to catch up on what is going on in each others' lives. Needless to say, they often end up as hours-long affairs! Bria is so grateful to have a matron of honor like Aly!
Bridesmaid
Tori and Bria have been friends since 2nd grade! They have shared nearly 25 years of memories, laughs, and major life events. Tori lived down the street from Bria, and since their moms were fast friends, so too were their young daughters. On any given afternoon, you could find Tori and Bria walking around the neighborhood, driving to Ye Ole Fashioned for burgers and ice cream, or supporting each other in their respective activities. Tori and Bria still live just down the road from each other (give or take a few extra miles), and Bria takes great pride in watching Tori become an amazing recent mother to her son, Oliver. The day wouldn't be complete without Bria's oldest friend by her side!
Bridesmaid
Charlotte is Bria's second oldest sister. While they are technically step-sisters, Charlotte has been in Bria's life for as long as she can remember. Specifically, Bria remembers Charlotte (4 years older) teaching her the ways of the world, particularly when it came to sports, boys, and school. In their adulthood, Charlotte lived right across the street from Bria while she was in school at Clemson University. The opportunity to share some of the most memorable years of her life with her big sister is something that Bria will never forget. Charlotte has also gifted Bria with one incredible niece, Sullivan, and one amazing nephew, Henry. Bria can't wait to share her special day with someone as meaningful as Charlotte!
Bridesmaid
Margaret is Bria's oldest sister. Technically Bria's step-sister, Bria has never felt anything but love and support from Margaret. With an age gap of a little over 8 years, Margaret served as an example of excellence, determination, and strength for a young Bria. She was able to watch Margaret soar in whatever she decided to tackle, and became delighted that, after college, Margaret moved to Charleston. This close proximity in adulthood has allowed Bria and Margaret's relationship to flourish, especially through Margaret's two amazing children: Eleanor and Harrison, whom Bria and Aaron get to hang out with all the time! Margaret is an invaluable friend and sister and Bria is excited to share her big day with someone so special!
Bridesmaid
Eleanor is Bria's oldest niece and is a Junior Bridesmaid in the wedding! Eleanor is the one that made Bria an Aunt, and Bria is so excited to share this big day with "E." Eleanor, now in the 2nd grade, is a wise, mature, and thoughtful young girl, and one that Bria can always count on to not only give her a good laugh, but also to give honest, thoughtful feedback. E holds a very special place in Bria's heart, and she is so excited to share this big day with her!
Flower Girl
Sullivan is Bria's second niece, and is one of the sweetest additions to the family! Sullivan, recently 3 years old, is a bright light for anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her. A recent big sister, Sully has made it her personal mission to make her baby brother, Henry, feel all the love imaginable. Bria is so excited to have Sullivan walk down the aisle right before her as the Flower Girl! She couldn't imagine her big day without such an important, sweet piece.
Ring Bearer
Harrison, or "Harry," is Bria's oldest nephew. The first boy of the bunch, Harrison is ALL energy, all the time. His favorite past times include sword fighting, legos, karate, and anything that involves chasing Uncle Aaron around and tackling him to the ground. This energy is perfect for Harrison's very serious assignment. Some may think of him as the Ring Bearer, but Bria and Aaron prefer to think of Harry as "Ring Security." An important job that Harrison is taking very seriously. He is looking forward to keeping all of the guests in check on the big day!
Best Man
Fred and Aaron have been friends since high school. They met when both of them were dropped off at school a whole hour early each day, and after a few conversations, they realized their friendship could have started much earlier! Aaron and Fred lived only a few miles down the road from each other their whole lives! From that point on, Aaron and Fred didn't waste any second of their close bond. Despite now having a long distance friendship, Fred and Aaron still make time to visit each other, be part of each other's greatest accomplishments, and cheer each other on as they each pursue their passions. Aaron is so excited to have someone as special as Fred stand by him as his best man on his special day.
Groomsman
Zach is Aaron's younger brother, though you wouldn't know it since he towers over Aaron by a couple of inches, at least! Though Aaron is 7 years older than Zach, these two have a bond that makes their relationship feel more like twins than siblings with an age gap. The two have a particular bond over their mutual love of baseball, always making sure to carve out some time to throw the ball around when they see each other during family visits. Zach is pursuing a career in Computer Science, and Aaron couldn't be more proud to see the young man his brother is becoming. It is an honor to have him standing next to Aaron on his big day!
Groomsman
Corey and Aaron met when they both attended Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, each a brother in the school's Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Corey is Aaron's "Raw Raw" (if you know, you know...), and now works as a modern workplace architect in Fort Mill, SC. Aaron and Corey grew especially close during a difficult time in college, when one of their mutual friends passed away. Aaron and Corey feel proud to have made it through that tough time, and to be able to continue their close bond through to adulthood. In fact, Corey lives close enough to Bria and Aaron that day trip/weekend visits occur on the regular! Aaron especially loves that Bria and Corey's amazing wife, Lisa, have made a bond of their own, and both Aaron and Bria both have absolutely fallen in love with Corey and Lisa's daughter, Evie. Aaron is so excited to have Corey there for yet another important milestone in his life.
Groomsman
Noah, or "Hite," as he would be known in the Navy, met Aaron in Naval Nuclear Training in North Charleston, SC. They quickly hit it off and decided to become roommates during their time in Charleston. Noah has a knack for making Aaron laugh, particularly in moments like while on night guard duty, when Noah had to force Aaron to stay awake (again, if you know, you know...) by using all sorts of creative tactics. Namely: rock, paper, scissors. Noah has been a vital and supportive friend for Aaron, so much so that, even after 4 years of a long distance friendship, Aaron feels like they were living together just yesterday. Noah had a special front row seat to the beginning of Bria and Aaron's relationship, and it is only fitting that he be there to celebrate their official unity!
