586-400-1221 We are doing something a little different and in addition to our traditional, physical Guestbook we have an Audio Guestbook! If you call this number any time from 10/1/22 to 10/21/22, you will hear a greeting from us and you can leave us your best wishes in a voicemail! We will get all of your messages afterwards and will be able to listen to them for years to come. We hope all of you will be excited to take part in this unique option! 586-400-1221
It all started at the University of Michigan - Baits 1 - Parker House - 3rd floor. We lived in the same hall, we had mutual acquaintances, and by the end of the year, we were together. We spent the remainder of undergrad working towards our degrees and experiencing all that Ann Arbor had to offer - namely football and incredible food. After graduation, Holly accepted a job working in Chicago and Aaras moved away for medical school. Over the next 3 years, we managed the difficulties of a long distance relationship, and eventually, Aaras moved to Chicago to finish his medical school rotations. Aaras graduated medical school and matched to an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. A couple months later, we packed up and moved to the East Coast. Almost 2 years after moving to Connecticut, and over a year into the pandemic, we took a much needed vacation to St. Thomas. While on that trip, Aaras proposed to Holly during a beautiful sunset on the beach. We are so excited for this next chapter in our life together, and can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
Our families come from various backgrounds and have different traditions, so it was important to us that we respect each other's cultures, which our wedding will represent. We will be having a traditional Hindu ceremony in the morning, followed by a luncheon. Later in the day, we will have a Western ceremony, with the reception afterwards. We know this makes for a long day, but we hope that our guests will enjoy the experience of our fusion wedding!
