Kaity and Abby met in a Cosmo’s pizza shop in Boulder Colorado, the first week of their freshman year at CU Boulder. 14 years, 3 different houses, 3 matching tattoos, and countless roadtrips later…they’re still killing it as the best of friends. Kaity currently lives in SF (don’t say San Fran), works as a graphic and interior designer, is the proud mama to cats Quorra and Lulu, and wife to Arun. She’s the coolest! Ask her about Star Trek, design, or Carl.

Chelsea Schwartz

Chelsea and Abby were thrust into friendship when they were paired as co-teachers in a toddler classroom. Chelsea was new to Denver, and Abby lived in an apartment with a pool. The connection was instant! It has been 7 years of offering each other relationship advice, cooking tips, endless support, and occasional (or a lot of) silliness. Chelsea lives in Portland, Maine, works with families through a Head Start program, and was recently married to the amazing Alan. Ask Chelsea about her book club, gardening, or to see her dance moves (they’re great).

Absinthe and Abby met in their masters program when Absinthe asked if she could hitch a ride from Denver to Boulder to attend class every week. A year of spending 2-3 hours in a car together every week and they discovered a shared love for music, signing loudly, and wondering about the cows on the side of 36. Since then they’ve enjoyed many an adventure together, in and out of cars, and discovered they also travel well together on airplanes. Absinthe lives in Denver Colorado and is the Storytelling Pedagogista at Composite Elementary, has a delightful dog Lemon and a lovely tenant/partner Brandon. Ask Absinthe about her paintings, to tell you a story (her scary stories are great), or about her honest opinion on Beaujos pizza.

Abby’s mother and the reason this wedding will have flowers, food, and music. She is a wonderful woman who has raised 4 children with such love and devotion! They don’t hand out awards for that, but if they did she would win them all. Ask her about what she’s currently knitting, reading, or favorite walk spot.

Paul Myers Senior

Abby’s dad, and an amazingly good man. He resides in NY where he is always giving back to those around him and making sure his family is safe and well. Ask him about golf, or if he’s closed a deal today.

The oldest of Abby’s younger brothers. He is quick with a joke and even quicker to support a loved one in need. Ask him about city life, real estate, and his short game.

The middle of Abby’s three younger brothers. James is one of the smartest guys you’ll meet, and is a kind soul. As a child he loved chickens more than anything. Ask him about his favorite food truck, living in the city, and Charlie’s chocolate shop.

The youngest of Abby’s brothers, Paul Jr. (Also known as young Paul) currently attends Baylor university. He is the kindest and most gentle person, and when you meet him you’re guaranteed to say “that’s a good kid.” Ask him about supporting the Baylor football team, his cowboy boots, or Ms. Kitty.
