We’re getting married!

We met on social media back in 2015 when we were just 17 and 19 years old. Angel lived in New York and I was in Miami. We became good friends at that time. In 2016, Angel moved to South Carolina and our relationship grew. On October 28th 2016 he traveled with his parents to Miami and asked me to be his girlfriend. The next 11 months of our relationship were long distance, only seeing each other for a few days each month. On October 1st 2017, we moved into our first apartment together here in Miami. The rest is history!

The proposal happened on Christmas Eve 2021. It was our first holiday having both his and my side of the family together to celebrate. At the end of the night, after everyone exchanged gifts, there was one gift left under the tree. That gift was for me, from Angel. Inside there was a short illustration book about our love that I read out loud to everyone. The last page read ‘will you marry me?’. He got down on one knee with a bouquet of roses and my dream ring. In between tears, I said YES. Since then, we took our time enjoying our engagement. Now we are ready to tie the knot! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
