About this venue

Perched high above the big intersection of Damen, Milwaukee and North Avenues in an Art Deco masterpiece formerly known as the Northwest Tower—stretching 203-feet tall and the only skyscraper for miles—The Robey captures the storied spirit of Chicago: a bustling, ever-changing, big-shouldered town. Originally designed as an office building in 1929 by the firm of Perkins, Chatten, & Hammond, each of the hotel's rooms, lobby and roof spaces were transformed by Belgian design duo Nicolas Schuybroek Architects and Marc Merckx Interiors. The Up Room

Our 13th floor rooftop terrace and lounge is sure to WOW your guests with its breath-taking skyline views and swanky indoor lounge.

Sitting atop the tallest building for miles, our stunning rooftop 13th floor lounge is sure to leave you and your guests feeling lucky (thanks to those twinkling skyline views). The Up Room offers a full bar, indoor lounge seating, large outdoor patio, and high top tables. The Up Room is ideal for standing cocktail receptions. Food stations or passed items are available for a private event in The Up Room. We can not accommodate a plated meal in The Up Room.

Here the space offers street-level access, lounge seating, a large bar, presentation capabilities, & an authentic Wicker Park vibe you’ll only find at the center of the six corners intersection. Again, we can serve up a beautiful dinner, passed & stationed appetizers and your favorite cocktails to go around!

Cabana Club is the Robey’s sixth floor rooftop pool and deck overlooking the entire Wicker Park neighborhood. Cabana Club features two full bars, one inside and one poolside. This space can be reserved privately or semi privately and is the perfect place to host the best party in Chicago. Food stations or passed items are most suitable for Cabana Club.

Clever Coyote is our 2nd floor indoor cocktail lounge offering vibrant décor and a nostalgic feel. The Lounge offers a full bar, floor to ceiling windows, lounge seating for 50, a pool or dining table, and small private room. Passed or stationed appetizers and a stationed buffet are best in The Lounge.
