The Blue Heron Event Venue is a locally owned and operated special events venue in High Point, North Carolina. Our classically beautiful event venue offers a stunning natural backdrop with scenic lake views for events up to 380 standing guests. Our space is a timeless backdrop for year-round events, featuring an elegant interior and expansive outdoor terrace to complement a variety of event themes and styles. Our central location within the Triad area (Greensboro, NC / High Point, NC / Winston Salem, NC) makes us a convenient location for traveling guests. We are two miles off I-40, nine miles from Piedmont Triad International Airport and have multiple partner hotels within 5 minutes. Managed by Pepper Moon Catering, our team of experienced event specialists are ready to help you create every facet of your dream wedding, corporate meeting, non-profit event, or social celebration so you can enjoy every moment!

With over 7,800 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor wedding space, we are one of the most unique venues in the area seating up to 150 wedding guests. Our brand new Terrace is a lovely location for your ceremony or cocktail hour while the adjacent lake and Blue Heron bridge provide scenic photo backdrops. Insider tip: don’t miss the sunset photo ops! Our indoor spaces feature a classically luxurious design full of natural light to complement a variety of wedding decor.
