About this venue

Los Portales is an event venue near El Paso, TX built in 1932. It is an adobe building with history in the vineyard area of the upper valley of the Rio Grande, along the old route to Mesilla, also known as Don Juan de Oñate route. Initially it was a women’s club in the 40’s and 50’s, a place of reunions, politics and community center. Later, it became a church for over 20 years. After the church moved out, it was abandoned for many years. Now it re surges after extensive remodeling, taking into consideration its historical value, the structure of the building and authentic antique value, as a new option for intimate family events, in a rustic and country feel for any event.

The one that just rents the venue, but the bride has to find different vendors in town. And the third option, where we like to consider Los Portales to be, where we have inclusive packages of high quality vendors in El Paso, but at the same time flexible to work with other vendors the bride and groom want in their wedding. Los Portales Venue offers a comprehensive service for weddings, quinceneras, and special events, offering the venue, DJ service, Catering Service, bartending service, waiters, linens, security, and event management.
