The Hitching Post is a historic private estate which originally started as a log cabin in 1812. We specialize in all-inclusive weddings with on-site catering and DJ. Elopements start at just $795; weddings with full receptions start at just over $2000.

    1812 Hitching Post was an absolute dream to work with for the couple’s wedding. As a photographer I thought the communication from the venue was efficient, organized, and the staff were incredibly kind throughout the wedding day. Working with them on site was great. The quality of their work was stunning - the vintage, beautiful grounds provided a gorgeous outdoor space for the wedding and reception. They alap make for stunning photos. Everything flowed seamlessly on the day of, thanks to the venue's attention to detail and commitment to making the couple’s special day perfect. Any couple would have a fantastic, well-organized and amazing experience at 1812 Hitching Post.

    We've worked with the 1812 Hitching Post several times and love this venue! The mature trees and landscaping make this venue super special; it's so relaxed and beautiful!
