Planner

I am a certified wedding planner with a passion for learning. It all started over 10 years ago when I worked as a birthday party host at a park district, eventually expanding to fundraising events, showers, and weddings. My passion for weddings and events grew, and I began helping friends and family with their weddings. Now, I run my own business! There is nothing I love more than seeing an idea come to life! When I'm not planning weddings, you'll find me cuddling with my baby, enjoying the show Friends under a cozy blanket, or sharing a meal with a glass (or two) of wine with my husband. I'd love to chat and learn more about you!

With personal experience planning my own wedding and assisting friends and family with theirs, I realized the importance of a truly personalized and stress-free wedding planning experience. As a newly certified planner with experience planning fundraising events, parties, and weddings, I knew it was time to bring a fresh and unique perspective to wedding planning. I also offer customized planning packages to fit your specific needs and budget.

We provide you with assistance every step of the way, from initial consultations to day-of coordination. With over 12 months of preparation before the big day, we work tirelessly to ensure that every detail is taken care of. You'll have regular meetings with our team to discuss your vision and even finer details, ensuring that every aspect of your day is perfect.

Our À la Carte Planning services allow you to pick and choose which aspects of your event you need our help with. We can assist you with everything from venue selection to vendor confirmation, and everything in between. With our À la Carte Planning, you only pay for the services you need, making it an affordable and efficient option for any event.

Our partial wedding planning service is perfect for couples who have started planning their special day but need assistance in a few areas. We’ll begin collaborating with you 3-6 months before the wedding day, and will provide planning assistance in 1-3 areas of your choice. Our regular meetings and communication ensure you’re always in the loop, and our day of coordination will ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our Day of Coordination service is designed to take care of everything for you. Starting 1-3 months before your big day, we'll identify any missing elements and create the perfect wedding day timeline. We'll even help you build a seating chart and confirm all your vendors, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

    Hiring Rebecca as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! When my husband and I first began planning our wedding, we thought we could handle everything with help from our family. However, we quickly realized we were in over our heads and needed professional help. Enter Rebecca! From the start, it was clear Rebecca was just as excited to work with us as we were to work with her. She was always willing to jump on a call to ease my stress and keep me organized. Her thoughtful questions (many I would never have considered) helped ensure we were fully prepared. Rebecca also worked closely with our vendors to create a seamless timeline for the day. On the wedding day itself, Rebecca and her wonderful assistant, Donna, did everything possible to bring my vision to life. They alleviated so much stress for us not just on the big day but in the weeks leading up to it. From setup to tear down, they over-delivered on everything. Many of our friends and family even commented on how amazing they were! Reflecting on our wedding day, I am forever grateful we had the Yes to I Do team by our side.     We hired Rebecca as our day-of coordinator, and she far exceeded our expectations. She was open to our vision and willing to work with us on our own terms. She stepped in where we wanted, but happily left things up to us when we communicated that it was something we wanted to do ourselves. She kept track of all of our items and tasks that needed to be done at the end of the evening, and supervised the teardown of the reception space without us having to think about anything. She alleviated so much stress for us, particularly on the wedding day and in the two weeks leading up to our wedding, and we are so happy that we hired her. She is a joy to work with!
