I’ve worked in everything from venue management, catering to festival planning and corporate events but my first love is all things WEDDINGS! My love for plants and flowers started as a child listening and watching my father care for his house plants, but I truly dived in after his passing! It was a way to connect to him and I realized I had I finally found my calling in life. As a wedding planner and floral designer, I get to merge my love for sculpture, flowers and weddings all into one. My sole purpose is to make sure my clients are at ease knowing their event is tailored specifically to them! Your wedding will tell the story of YOU!

I love a good timeline, excel sheet, smooth event and big smiles from my couples! That's exactly why I got into this business so that I could share my passion with others! As a “retired” painter and sculptor, I truly feel like I use my eye for detail and craftsmanship to my advantage when designing. Its cliche to truly love your job, but to me it is not work, its what I was meant to do!

From visiting your venue to making sure your shoes are in the car on wedding night, Calhoun Events Studio collaborates with you every step of the way ensuring that you are calm, excited, and blown away on your wedding day!

Contacting vendors, coordinating their needs, arrival times, the venue rules plus finding the perfect dress can be overwhelming! Something has to be removed from your plate! From assisting with vendor contracts to design recommendations, I make sure its a smooth transition come wedding day! With years as a venue manager/vendor myself, I know what they are looking for and exactly how to execute it! Let’s just say it is a secret language.

You've done all the planning, checked it twice...and once more for good measure. Now it is time to hand it over to me so you can focus on the most important thing of all, marrying your best friend! Calhoun Events Studio will set in 3 months from your wedding and manage your day exactly like you planned. So dance the night away, we have got you covered!
