Hey there! I’m Britt, the creative spirit behind TLC. Picture us chatting over coffee like old friends—that’s the vibe I bring to everything I do. For 12 years, I’ve been capturing love stories full-time, with five-star reviews and Best of Weddings awards to back it up. Creating with my hands is my jam, whether it’s photographing your moments or crafting something beautiful. I live for travel, tattoos, caffeine, dark romance novels, Thai food, and Gilmore Girls. With my family and dogs at the center, a twisted sense of humor, thrift-store finds, and an eclectic music mix (from Death Cab to J Balvin), I’m here to make some magic with you.

Where to begin! I found The Love Colletive in summer 2023 while looking for a local, reasonably priced photographer for our small religious wedding. From our first phone consultation through the months leading up to the actual wedding day, Britt was so kind, generous with her time, and attentive. I don’t usually like being the center of attention and feel awkward being photographed, but she creates the most easygoing, playful, and comfortable atmosphere that quickly dissipates any awkwardness. She was very conscientious and respectful, making sure to ask if it was okay for her to photograph our religious ceremony. Our photos were beautiful & delivered promptly; many of them went on to be used as various holiday cards. We had such a great experience with Britt we ended up asking her to photograph our reception in 2024 and plan to do family photos with her in 2025. I’ve recommended Britt to my own friends & can’t recommend her enough to any future Houston area brides out there!

Our experience with Britt has been exceptional! She is a joy to work with and made both of us feel very comfortable, despite us just being awkward humans in front of the camera lol. She has great photo packages and photographed 3 of our wedding events - a court marriage, a welcome night, and a reception night. Britt captured such fun and intimate moments and we are still in awe of the photos we received and have hanging in our house. Could not recommend Britt and her team more! Bonus, we also had Britt photograph a "newborn" shoot shortly after the wedding (with our two dogs, one being a 2-month old puppy :P). Saying we are obsessed with these pics is an understatement. She was very accommodating to the craziness of two dogs running around and somehow captured both of their personalities so well! So grateful for Britt.

Britt and team were truly the MVPs of our wedding - our absolute favorite vendor! They made us feel so natural at all of our photo shoots (engagement, bridals, and the wedding itself), and the resulting images were stunning. They are also just genuinely lovely people, who looked out for us and made sure we had everything we needed during the wedding (even stepping in and filling some of the gap left by our less-than-stellar planner). We would highly recommend The Love Collective to any friends getting married (or anyone who simply wants to do a great photoshoot)!

We guarantee at least 40 edited, high resolution images per hour of coverage. 99% of the time, we deliver above this - all in an online gallery that’s super easy to download from and share with friends and family.

This is probably our most frequently asked questions and honestly it’s an answer I’m really proud of. For weddings, we deliver within 4 weeks. For sessions, your images are back to you within 7 business days. Most photographers in the area have an 8-12 week turnaround time and while it’s taken me over 10 years to get to this point, here we are! Everything is hand retouched by me, Britt! You won’t receive a single image where I haven’t made sure it’s ‘mantle-worthy’!

Yes, go wild! Once you receive your images, you will also receive a full print release. This means that you can print to your hearts content! Make your own canvases, albums, etc. The only thing you can’t do is say you took the photos. :)

Great question! If you’re all set on us capturing your love story (YAY!) we make it as easy as possible to get the paperwork completed. Everything is done online from invoice to contract, all wrapped up in your very own client portal for your own records. You'll have my cell number as well for any questions, calls, or last minute wedding jitter chats. We're always here for ya! We require a 50% non-refundable retainer to book your day, and the remaining 50% is due (30) days prior to your big day. Once booked, you’ll receive a welcome guide and we are here whenever for any questions or just to chat!

If posed and stiff isn’t your thing, and you’re all about the authentic giggles, tears, and kisses captured candidly, we’re going to get along just fine. We specialize in true to life, documentary style photography. We will of course take plenty of time for some stunning, more posed family & romantic photographs, but we like to capture your love story as it unfolds naturally for the most part!
