We are a close-knit family of photographers, filmmakers, and designers with a kindred passion for storytelling. Our vision for a collective studio was dreamed up to answer the problem of frustrated brides and grooms waiting ages to see their photos or just get an email back and the problem of artists burned out on business-running because it’s impossible to do it all.

Chad, Sabrina, and the whole team at Studio This Is are nothing short of OUTSTANDING to work with! We have been completely obsessed with them, from the planning process to our engagement shoot to the wedding day to the photos themselves. Chad took the time to listen to our vision and bring it to life even more beautifully than we ever could have imagined. He was also incredibly organized and communicative, which meant a lot to someone as type A as me. :) The whole crew on the day of our wedding was extremely professional and kind, with a meticulous eye for details. And the photos - we are absolutely speechless! I could not recommend Studio This Is more!

Right after we booked our church and venue, Studio This Is was next on our list because we couldn't imagine having anyone else shoot our wedding. We loved that Nancy and her team could beautifully capture both the major moments of our wedding and those little moments and reactions we might have missed. My husband and I were also drawn to the timelessness of her black & white photography. Studio This Is was one of our easiest and best vendors to work with. Nancy was always willing to work around my husband's unpredictable surgery residency schedule and even had an extra meeting with my parents to ensure that they felt comfortable before the big day. I would also recommend doing an engagement shoot before the wedding; not only do we love the pictures we have from that day, but it also gave us a chance to figure out what poses and locations worked best for us. As a couple who doesn't love taking photos, Nancy and her team made us feel completely comfortable at our engagement shoot and on our big day. Our wedding party and families loved them too! The photos from our wedding came out even more beautifully than we could have ever imagined, and we can't wait to finish putting together our album. I highly recommend Studio This Is and their associated partners (Wholehearted Films and Snapbooth Chicago) to perfectly capture your big day!

Nancy did our engagement and wedding photos and they were absolutely perfect! She was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable throughout all of our pictures. She did our family photos so quickly during our wedding so we could enjoy the day with all of our family and friends. Our photos came out so perfect and I love all of them! I could't recommend Studio This Is more, they are the best in the business!
