Hello, I’m Rachel! I am a wedding, portraits, and events photographer based in Minneapolis. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2012, and have experience photographing over 300 weddings – not one has ever felt like work. I think I have the best job in the world. My approach is to capture the story of your wedding day, from start to finish. Because no two couples (or weddings) are exactly alike, I customize my approach specific to you. From the moment we connect, it’s my goal to help you feel at-ease. I'll help you plan your day, work with you to find the best locations for photos, guide you through poses, and we'll make it fun!

My photography is crisp and clean, with true-to-life styles and colors. I love natural light and the outdoors, but I also love when I get to be technical with off-camera lighting in dark and challenging spaces. I use a variety of shooting styles, which include traditional and contemporary portraits, photojournalism, in-the-moment candids, and closeups of every detail. I’m hands-on and detail oriented, but I’m also laid back and fun-loving. What I look forward to most about each and every wedding is creating a custom collection of photos.
