There are many reasons couples choose not to have a “traditional” wedding, and the beauty is that you can make it anything you want it to be – and that’s also why I care so deeply about making sure every couple I work with knows that their day is important, beautiful, and deserves to be captured so you can look back on every detail. Hi! My name is Anna– I am an elopement and wedding photographer helping adventurous couples say “I do” on their own terms from coast to coast.

For years, I've have photographed everything from big city ballrooms, intimate backyard weddings and mountaintop elopements. I thrive documenting couples in love, no matter what that day looks like. I'm all about embracing your uniqueness and throwing tradition out the window, whether that means 100 guests or none at all. I offer specialized elopement and tiny wedding options that include planning assistance, location suggestions and much more.

The Adventure Elopement

Description

We'll help you build an epic all-day elopement experience because your elopement day is worth so much more than a couple of hours. This could mean getting ready at a cozy Airbnb, a first look followed by an intimate afternoon ceremony with your closest family, and a private hike together for those golden hour portraits. Or imagine exchanging vows right at sunrise, and a full day of adventures and exploration still awaiting you. We will be with you throughout every adventure.

    I cannot say enough good things about Anna and Trevor. They were, without a doubt, our best vendor. From the planning process through our wedding day(s), they continued to go above and beyond. They even provided our final photos way earlier than expected! Throughout our planning process, Anna was readily available for a call to talk through our latest ceremony location ideas, and they were SUPER flexible with our idea for a two day elopement family ceremony. They helped us select locations for both a longer, more private ceremony session and the PERFECT location that could accommodate our large, immediate families for our legal ceremony. Anna and Trevor have excellent knowledge of local permit requirements for backcountry locations (and who to contact to get approval). They even did some google-earth research to figure out lighting for one of the less traveled (non- All-Trails) locations we were considering for our private ceremony. Our planning calls felt more like planning a backpacking trip with friends, rather than going over picture logistics for our wedding, haha. The week of our wedding, Anna was super communicative, and we met for the first time at a trailhead at 3am. Anna and Trevor braved the early morning and hiked 8 miles with us that morning into the most beautiful alpine meadow that we had all to ourselves. We weren't sure how we'd feel spilling our deepest feelings to each other while gazing at the north cascades, but Anna and Trevor were super chill throughout the whole morning hike / private vow session and made us feel comfortable being ourselves in our favorite place. On our wedding day, we had some unfortunate delays due to some hair and makeup issues, but Anna and Trevor were able to go with the flow and accommodate our morning itinerary. They captured our ceremony, family portraits (which were mind-blowingly efficient!), and cocktail hour photos so perfectly. I cant say enough about the quality of the photos, on top of the entire amazing process. The first several scrolls through our gallery brought me to tears because of how perfectly they captured our emotions over our wedding days. I love the little candid moments and how you can feel the love through the photos. It's taken me 2 months to actually start order prints because I can't decide which ones I like the most! 10 / 10 recommend Overland Elopements - I'd get married a second time just to have them on our team again :)

    I spent MONTHS speaking to maybe 30 different photographers, and I was blown away by Anna and Trevor from the start. We had van life in common at the time, I knew they were my people. The photos in their galleries were so crisp, colorful, and candid -- exactly what we wanted. Anna took the time to have multiple Zoom calls with us to ensure we were comfortable before signing our contract. The care the team takes in getting you ready for your big day is incredible, a questionnaire, a planning guide, and all the location scouting?! They literally hiked our hike the day before our elopement to scope the best spots and make sure it was everything we wanted! Their patience with us while working out our timeline was so generous and kind (we were not easy in this regard). Anna even helped me with other vendors referrals (hair/makeup, videographer, florals, attire, footwear, you name it). Even a packing checklist! And this is all BEFORE the big day! Day-of they were early, professional, kind, and so cool...we hope to hang out soon as friends, they're those kind of people. They made us feel SO comfortable on such an intimate day, and it went off perfectly, we couldn't have gotten luckier. THE PHOTOS! They speak for themselves, and these are just the sneak peeks, which we received in I think 36 hours?! If you go with any other photography team you're crazy. Book this duo.

    We had an amazing experience with Overland Elopements. Anna & Trevor are adorable. They were very relaxed and professional and made us feel very comfortable even though they had cameras in our faces. lol. Really, they were easy to be around. And the photos came out beautiful! We love the collection so much! We were shocked with how quickly they provided our photos. It was like they were as excited to look over the footage as we were. They also were incredibly kind about working around a family emergency that came up with our original date. Highly recommend.
