Hi! I’m Marilia, a Richmond-based wedding photographer, and I bring a natural, classic, and timeless approach to photography on my couples’ wedding day. I believe your wedding photos should feel natural, emotional, and true to who you are – the kind of images that you’ll look back on decades from now and still love. My approach is simple and intentional – I want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully present on your wedding day and I’m the person fixing your veil, reminding you to breathe, making sure you’re having fun.

My couples value connection, joyful energy, and want their wedding day to feel relaxed. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll probably find me in a cozy RVA coffee shop or with my nose in a good book.     We used Marilia to photograph our wedding in October 2024. Marilia was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. She was always energetic and positive. She did a fantastic job of capturing our wedding and all of our guests loved her. The photos came out fantastic and will be great reminders of our wedding for a long time to come. Could not recommend Marilia enough!
