I walk through my life with an eye for light, stories, and emotion. I have been photographing weddings for just shy of a decade now and can say that the people, places, and stories I have witnessed have shaped me. The friends I have made along the way I continually try to invest in them and their families. I am excited that you are here and that you are interested in having me join this journey with you. Every story matters, I hope by now you have seen this through my work. Let’s dive into my story a little bit. I was raised in the jungles of Indonesia, grew into a photographer at College in Arkansas and now creating a life and family in Rogers, Arkansas. When I am not invested in telling my clients stories and getting to know them better I am probably on the lake with my wife, Brooke, and our Dog, Kava. I enjoy a good dinner date, evening out with friends and investing in the relationships around me. Coffee, a good cocktail, and food is truly the way to my heart.

    Max is phenomenal, not only as a photographer but as a human as well! We moved from Colorado to Arkansas shortly after getting engaged, and because we had already selected a wedding venue in Colorado, our plan was to hire Max for engagement photos in Arkansas only and go with a CO-based photographer for the wedding. After meeting Max and hearing his story, we knew we were going to forgo our original plan and hire him for both sets of photos. Our engagement shoot was so much fun, and my husband and I both felt comfortable the entire time (which is rare for us, we're awkward people!). We knew once we got our engagement photos back that hiring Max for our wedding was the right choice, and man did he prove us right! The second he arrived at our venue on wedding day, he fit right in and made everything feel fun instead of stressful. Our family, friends, and guests are still raving about how much they loved our photographer because he was a joy to talk with and brought such a positive energy to the event. My parents even commented that Max felt like family because he made everyone feel comfortable and truly brought out the joy in everyone while we did family photos. The photos we have received back so far are outstanding - Max has a great eye and his use of light is exactly what we wanted. We are forever grateful that he was willing to travel across the country to document our day.

    In brief, Max Grubb is one of the finest wedding photographers in the area, and I will argue in the country. Max is open, down to earth, empathetic, funny, laid back, and just a great guy you want to have beers with. While his personality is easy going, he is anything but when it comes to his work. Max’s ability to use natural light to illuminate his subjects is almost supernatural. He has the amazing ability to relax all anxieties you may feel on your picture day. Once you have worked with Max he will always be your photographer on speed dial. Preston and I decided that we wanted to elope but that didn't mean we didn't want to share our moment. Max knew we were in for anything, even a morning hike up a mountain to catch the sunrise. Preston hates pictures but now after working with Max he has been thinking of new ideas and locations for future photoshoots! Our home will finally be transformed from zero photos of us to a whole gallery! Max captures the little moments that truly express who he is photographing. Not only did I feel seen, secure, confident, and beautiful, I never once felt like a ‘Pinterest photo’. The images we have of our moment are truly one of a kind and I have enjoyed looking at them every day since. Brides, you want Max to be your photographer because he will make you feel so special, like a model or queen. You won't be disappointed. Grooms, you want Max because he is a bro who is here to make everyone look good and have fun. If you're not careful, you may end up booking multiple shoots with Max!
