Since I was a kid, I have always been a hopeless romantic. Weddings always seemed so beautiful and precious to me. Once I picked up photography, I knew I wanted to enter the wedding arena. Here I am, making my dreams come true. Capturing your special day is an honor; I am happy to serve you and to be a part. Let's make your wedding day come alive with photos that'll make you feel like you're living your wedding day all over again!

My ability to tell your love story is what sets me a part. My photos that are creative, but still timeless. On top of that, there's my faith, brand, & personality! I love dealing with kind, chill, or personable couples. I am a very empathetic person who sees my clients as people to care for and to serve. As your photographer, I try to bring a bit of comedic relief, friendship and a chill vibe to your sessions. You don't have to worry about bad communication (being that I communicate well & quickly!) Marissa doesn’t meet deadlines or initiate communication when she should, is unresponsive when reached out to, & doesn’t fully edit her work. I got some pictures I love but felt my overall experience was lacking in what I would have gotten had I gone with a different photographer. We picked a location for our engagement shoot based on M’s location guide. M told us she hadn’t shot there before, that she’d scout the location prior. I even provided examples. M started out by having us take pics near the entrance which wasn’t a picturesque spot then one of the next stops was a security building with a trashcan and a metal lawn chair outside the building that is in the pics. I realized that M hadn’t scouted, I wanted to make sure we got some better backgrounds so I ended up leading us to the next location. We got only 1 picture back from our shoot at this spot, M said that the others we took were duplicates and that the other pose didn’t look good. I told M that I wanted somewhere with the cityscape in the background like I had asked for when talking about the vibe of the shoot. M didn’t already have a spot like that in mind so we wasted some of the hour walking around looking for potential spots. We stumbled across some cute spots walking. We got our sneak peek photos on time, the 1st photos we took, M’s bag & speaker were set down & are visible in the pics. Our full album was supposed to be ready in 3 weeks per the contract but we heard nothing from M. I gave her a few extra days & reached out after half a week had passed. M did not respond so I had to reach out to her again at which time she said she was graduating college & that she could update the gallery but that it wasn’t done. We did end up getting the gallery the next weekend. For the wedding, the sneak peek was late & when I reached out to M at the 1 month mark that her guide says you’ll receive photos by, M said that the timeline would be 6-10 weeks. At the end of the 10 weeks, I reached out to M, no answer so I had to follow up. She got back to me that the gallery wasn’t completed, give her 2 more weeks. At that time, I had to reach out to M again. She wrote that she updated the gallery. When I checked, it was once again a small handful of photos. I replied to her saying that I was disappointed and asking for a date. Once again, M did not respond. I reached out to her after a week, she replied with how busy she is, that she’d taken on an additional project that causes her “to be busy literally all day,” and that she would be going out to the country in a week and a half as she “most likely be unreachable and unable to edit” until she returned so her goal was to finish before then. M didnt make that goal either and failed to respond to multiple texts about it. When she did, she said the gallery was ready but despite promises that it was being uploaded, we ended up getting the gallery half a week after she returned, nearly 17 weeks after our wedding. There were shots we love, however, there were a few things I was disappointed in. I had to point out obvious things to edit. We are also missing a photo of the recession when my husband stopped to dip/kiss me. I asked M about this and she said she didn’t get a shot in focus, she provided us with one as he started to dip me. This seems like a HUGE mistake for a photographer. There are guests who aren’t in any of the photos at all from the reception and the rehearsal. In photos of the bridal party, some people got cut out of the frame.
