Hello and congratulations on your engagement! I am from Michigan originally, and lived in Boston until recently moving to California. I started with a focus on portrait and wedding photography, and also spent time as a photojournalist. With this background, my priority in wedding photography is to capture the emotions, colors, scenery and feelings of the day as they are. I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera to showcase your unique and special love!

I love wedding photography because of the connections I make with not only the couple, but also the community that you two have around you. Your wedding photographer will be a part of your family for a day, a part of the moments you'll treasure forever. That's what I always have in mind while spending time with your loved ones as well as you! One of the first questions I'll ask you is what story you want your photos to tell when you look back on them in 20 years - focused on you two? Focused on your guests? Candid? Posed? I always tailor my photography to how you want to remember the day.

    Madeline was so great to work with. She made us feel comfortable and calm on such a hectic day. I wish it hadn’t rained but Maddie made the best of it and I have no doubt the pictures will be great. 10/10 would hire her again
