Hi, I'm Laurel! I love to capture authentic, candid moments between you and your loved ones, as well as variations on classic poses. I like to think of myself as a storyteller for sweethearts in love. I specialize in natural light wedding photography, with an emphasis on fine art and candid images. On wedding days, my second shooter is my sweet husband, Jakub– that’s right, we are a husband and wife team! I love shooting all the emotion-filled moments and delicate details on your wedding day, and I couldn’t imagine doing it without Jakub by my side. We when aren't photographing, we are usually spending time with our Holland Lop, Beau!

The Collections do not include any travel fees outside North Carolina. Please provide your wedding details, and I will let you know if there are any travel fees. For NC weddings, at most, we ask for a two-night hotel stay, depending on amount of travel time from Raleigh, NC. All tax is included.

Look no further - Laurel is the BEST!!
I have had the pleasure of working with Laurel and Jakub throughout multiple sessions over the last 2 years - engagement photos, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner and wedding day! Laurel was always open to my thoughts and suggestions from inspiration I had seen for poses, session locations, etc. but she is always prepared to give such helpful direction and guidance based on her experience. Communication is 12/10 and we loved her use of "credits" with the packages she offers. Sessions were always extremely comfortable and in turn, she was able to capture photos where we felt confident and well, like ourselves! Outside from their incredible talent to capture such special moments - Laurel and Jakub are just wonderful people to be around and work with!

Laurel has been the best party of our wedding process! From our engagement photos to our wedding day we loved having her there every moment. Our pictures were natural, fun, easy and absolutely stunning. She communicates often, stays in touch and created an amazing timeline to help us through the day! Highly, highly recommend!

Laurel & Jakub were the perfect choice for my wedding. From the initial consultation with Laurel where she trusted the girl who didn’t have a clue what to do but wanted a short engagement, to the engagement session, to the bridal portraits, to the day of the wedding- Laurel always helped & calmed our nerves & anxiety. She always made us feel comfortable in front of the camera & always respected our input/wants/don’t wants. She was the perfect asset to our wedding day. If you aren’t sure of who to trust with photographing your wedding day & love the natural light look of photos, choose Laurel!
Great Photographers
Laurel & Jakub were very easy to work with, super responsive and willing to be flexible - roll with the punches - as we were married in 2020 during the craziness of the pandemic. They were also super great after the wedding when my computer crashed losing all my stored photos. Laurel sent them right away. You will enjoy these lovely people.
