I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, I’ve shot over 100 weddings in my lifetime and I've been in business for 6 years! The images I take are about you, not about me — my desire is to capture your wedding day with simplicity and honesty. I'm a lover of coffee, gardening, fresh-cut flowers and being outside with my fam!

I’m not showing up to *just* do a job, I’m about capturing real moments, your moments, so that you can hold onto them forever. I want you to look back at your images and feel awesome, to feel beautiful, to feel happy, to feel moved. My photojournalistic style captures the real, honest, candid moments of your day.

She is a perfect combination of a professional and true artist, taking the chaos out of a day-of wedding schedule with ease, capturing moments perfectly and sharing her talent of true, beautiful photography. Kara is so laid back and easy to work with! From the first e-mail I sent to her before the wedding, I already knew we were going to work well together. Not only was she accommodating to her clients, but she gave me the space and time I needed to make sure I could get my job done as well. On the wedding day, I watched how she worked with her clients and how professional she was while making everyone around her feel comfortable and free to be themselves in front of the camera (that's a huge plus as a videographer working with a photographer). We communicated very well with each other the entire day and I just loved working with her. So much that my fiancé and I actually hired her to be our photographer for our wedding! KARA IS THE BEST!
