Hi, I’m Jason, a Des Moines wedding photographer who travels around the globe photographing weddings. After documenting over 500 weddings, I can honestly say that no two weddings are the same! I strive for epic compositions with my photojournalistic approach to wedding photography to capture the true essence of who you are as a newly married couple. In addition to my skills as a photographer, I’ve also built my client experience to infuse more fun and less stress into your wedding day.

Choosing Jason as our wedding photographer was the single best decision we made regarding our wedding, full stop. If you are thinking about booking him, stop reading this and go!!! Jason and his amazing team were such joyful, calming presences throughout our wedding weekend. Not only were they total pros in handling every shot and every moment, but they were also incredibly fun to have around and they made the day even more fun! They knew exactly when to step in and guide us (help, where do I put my hands?!) and when to let us be in the moment. From the rehearsal through to the wedding, they made everything feel effortless, capturing genuine memories we'll cherish forever. Jason and his team are talented, dedicated, and such a joy to work with. Highly, highly recommend!

I'm pretty particular when it comes to photography, so when planning my wedding I knew I wasn't going to settle for anything less than amazing. Jason blew all of my expectations out of the water, not only is he incredibly talented in his photography skills, he is extremely personable and fun to work with! 12/10 would recommend!!

Jason is simply the best! We stumbled upon him after reviewing photographers in our area and it was the biggest blessing. He was super quick to respond after we inquired about availability and before we knew it he was taking our engagement photos! We made Jason aware of when we hoped to send out save the dates for our wedding and he got our photos back to us within a week of them being taken with a preview the very next day! Jason is super open to making your photos memorable so when we wanted a few photos with our pup and us celebrating with champagne, he was all in! Fast forward to the months leading up to our big day, Jason was always there with emails to make sure he was prepared and had all the details we were looking for in our photos. We have a big family so our shot list was a little long but come wedding day, Jason was firing through those photos to make sure we stayed on schedule. We were actually ahead of schedule all day long which I know is a result of his efficiency. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we owe a lot of thanks to Jason for that. He was so personable with everyone he met and made taking photos fun! Our friends and family are still raving about Jason and we got married a little over a month ago! And can we talk about the quality of his work? They left my husband and I speechless. Jason, thank you for being you! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a kinder soul. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Jason. He was there for us through every step of wedding planning and truly made a huge impact on our day. We initially were drawn to Jason’s photography because we loved his timeless style and true-tone editing. We soon came to realize that not only is his photography the highest quality, but his attention to detail and overall efficiency are unmatched. He caught many details we would’ve never thought about and made taking thousands of photos in one day look easy. With Jason as your photographer, you can truly trust him to get things done and be cool, calm, and collected while doing it. The photos Jason captured on our day were better than we ever could’ve imagined, and he captured every detail and emotion so beautifully. We look back on all of our photos and are able to truly relive every feeling and moment. We feel so blessed that we had Jason as our photographer and will be able to keep reliving these moments forever. Not only are Jason’s photos perfect, he also was a key part in planning our day and making sure the day ran smoothly. He did so much more than just take pictures of our wedding. Jason was the calm in the storm (a literal storm because it rained all morning on our wedding day) that helped ease our minds and limit our wedding day stress. Everyone could’ve been stressed about our outdoor ceremony getting rained out, but instead, Jason helped keep things light-hearted and optimistic.
