Hello, I'm so excited you're here. I can't wait to chat with you about your elopement or wedding, but 1st, I want you to know a little bit more about who I am & why I LOVE what I do! I'm Janessa, a mom, a student, and a constantly inspired photographer. I am a healthcare professional part time, and an engagement & elopement photographer all the time! My style is pretty moody & candid, and so incredibly emotional. My goal is to bring out the best in you and your partner during our time together, whether it's an engagement session, an intimate wedding, or eloping just the two of you. Being said, I look forward to working with you!

My journey with photography started when I made a big move half across the country from Atlanta, Georgia. Reliving our many captured moments motivated me to bring that same genuine joy that I felt to others through my photography. I am a safe space for all, and I encourage those who are different to reach out to me. As you explore my portfolio, you will notice that I have crossed paths with beautiful couples from all path of life, and all around the globe. My style is relatable to a warm editorial piece with artistic & intimate freedom. I have been published in multiple magazines, and I am featured on several websites and IG pages!

After a deep dive on social media, I found Janessa and loved her aesthetic and photography. She took our post-engagement photos and edited them so well you could not tell it was raining. She took additional photos of us that were more casual and shared our thrifting vibes. She also took our wedding photos. We loved how all the photos turned out! She was responsive and communicative, so accommodating with our schedule every time we visited Colorado, her editing is amazing, her and her husband are so nice and friendly. They are also so creative and found backup plans when it started to rain during the wedding and photos still turned out amazing. We can’t wait to have her take future pictures for us too!

Janessa and Josh were so amazing for our wedding and engagement shoot! We just got married and already have beautiful sneak peaks to share with everyone. If I could share every photo without annoying my friends and family, I would. My parents wedding photographs were destroyed, so it was important to me to have good wedding photography and Janessa delivered!

Working with Janessa was a dream, and we could not have chosen a better photographer. Not only was she happy to meet with us when we needed, but she also was constantly inspiring, and sent plenty of recommendations along the way. The day of our wedding she made sure to connect with all of our friends, family members, and guests throughout the day, leaving an impressionable mark on everyone she talked to. Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!

Yes, my husband is actually my favorite second shooter! I’ll bring one or more assistants/photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this cost is included in your wedding package price :)

Yes! Although my main focus is on photography, I currently offer short highlight films in digital and in super 8mm format that follows my style along closely.

You can expect about 75-100 images per hour of photographing, which ends up being 400-800 photos in your final gallery. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. I do not like to set a hard number on this, as I like to tell a story in your gallery :)

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-12 weeks after your wedding, and up to 72 hours for your sneak peeks. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a gallery link with both high-resolution image files and web-sized files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness by me to ensure they represent your exciting day. I believe that tones, and moods of editing really represent the photographers work and art.

In my 4 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I have not canceled a wedding. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.
